How to be Saved?

Often people think to themselves, “I’m not that bad. I try to be a good person and I don’t hurt anyone. After all, there are people worse than me.” But if you were to really look at your life like that, you would surely find something that could be considered a sin. Maybe you once lied or spoke badly about someone, or did something else that makes you a sinner.

In any case, listen to what God says about this yourself:

“… There is not a single righteous person.” – Romans 3:10

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of Elohim”. – Romans 3:23

As you can see for yourself, in Yahuah’s eyes we are all sinners, because at one time, willingly or unwillingly, we certainly broke any of His commandments.

The penalty for breaking Yahuah’s commandments is death:

“For the wages of sin is death…” – Romans 6:23

It is, of course, about spiritual death, that is, eternal separation from God. And it doesn’t matter whether it was a “little” or “big” sin, as some make the distinction. The penalty for deviating from Elohim’s rules is one – death. Fortunately for us, Yahuah has found a way out of this situation. A way out that can save you, and the decision is entirely up to you:

“For Elohim so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” – John 3:16

“And Elohim gives proof of His love toward us by the fact that, while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” – Romans 5:8

Yahuah loved us so much that when you and I were not yet in the world, He said to His only beloved Son Yahusha: “You will die for them on the cross to reconcile them to me.” That’s amazing, isn’t it? Yahuah’s love knows no bounds, and thanks to Yahusha’s death on the cross, we can once again be in Elohim’s presence and be justified by the blood of the Lamb.

“… having been justified by his blood, we shall be kept from wrath through him.” – Romans 5:9

The good news is that Yahusha is alive and wants you to return to the Father and to Him alone. Yahusha is alive and has the power and authority to save you and me from death and eternal damnation. He does all this out of love for you. This is a gift to you. He realizes that in no way can any of us earn salvation, so He shows us His grace.

“For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves: it is Elohim’s gift; Not of works, lest any man should boast.” – Ephesians 2:8-9

Like all of us, you have free will – you can accept this grace or reject it…. What must you do to be saved? Yahuah’s Word makes this clear:

“For if you confess with your mouth that Yahusha is Master, and believe in your heart that Yahuah raised him from the dead, you shall be saved.” – Romans 10:9

In addition to accepting Yahusha as your Master and Savior, believing in your heart in His atoning death on the cross and resurrection, you must also repent of your sins. Repentance is admitting your mistakes, repenting of your sins and, above all, being willing to change your behavior.

“Therefore repent and be converted, that your sins may be taken away …” – Acts 3:19

“If we confess our sins, Yahuah is faithful and just, and will forgive us our sins, and will cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” – 1 John 1:9

If you are ready, believe what Yahuah’s Word says and have a sincere desire in your heart to come to the Master Yahusha now, don’t hesitate. Yahuah loves you very much and has been waiting all your life for you to do so. And in this way, regardless of your past, you will become a new being.

“Thus, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, behold, all things have become new.” – 2 Corinthians 5:17

Yahusha promised us:

“… and he who comes to me I will not cast away”. – John 6:37

Below is a short prayer. Pray it if you have made the decision to give your life to Yahuah. If you want to pray with the intention of “I’ll pray, we’ll see what happens” then know that this is not the way to go. Your prayer must be sincere and flowing from the depths of your heart, you must turn to Yahuah in faith, almost as if it were to be your last prayer in life that you are allowed. This is not a game. Confess it with your mouth, preferably out loud.

Master Yahusha,

I thank You that You died for me on the cross. I thank You that You took all my sins and curses upon Yourself so that I could be free and happy. I believe that You died for me and rose again. I accept Your forgiveness and from the depths of my heart I have decided to invite You into my life. I apologize to You for all my sins. I turn away from a life of rebellion and living away from You.

I thank You, Master Yahusha, for accepting me fully and for loving me. I invite You into my life to turn my heart into Your temple. Today, here and now, I confess with my lips that You, Yahushua Christ, are my Master and Savior. To You I desire to serve and belong to You.
In the name of my Master Yahusha Christ

Amen.

You prayed, but what’s next? I congratulate you! You have made the right decision, you have reconciled with Elohim. If you have never done so, read the Gospel according to St. John and start reading the Word of God.
